Leather and Footwear Fair in Bangladesh

The leather industry is growing! After the declaration of  “Product of the Year” by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in 2017. Gradually, the new thinkings and strategic plans are executing in the leather industry. Meanwhile, the exports doors are opening broadly for foreign buyers & investors to collaborate with local businesses. From there a mutual friendship and trading have just got another flair of its own between individuals. With certain economic allies can make the country’s economic growth rapidly & smoothly. Moreover,  there are two organizations are hosting the Leather and Footwear Fair in Bangladesh, And they are BLISS & Leathertech who are constantly hosting an individual trade show.

Description:

More than 300 exhibitors from nearly 20 countries are participating in the eighth edition of the three-day exposition. Beautifully organized by ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd. (BFLLFEA), Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA),  (BPPS), (LETS).  (COEL) are the show’s strategic partner.

The participants, including CLE and IFCOMA from India, Wenzhou and Jinjiang Association from China and Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) are showcasing a wide array of items such as leather and leather products, international and local technology regarding machinery, components, chemicals, and equipment and accessories required for manufacturing footwear at the event.

Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, Managing Director of ASK said “This year the show has expanded in terms of both size and scope. This implies that the investment to catalyze the upgrade and development of the country’s leather industry has increased.”   He also “The machinery, components, and accessories have been displayed in the show with a view to conveying the message of (the development of) the latest leather technology and their origin,”

“The leather industry is striding towards the goal to export 5.0 billion USD by the year 2021, owing to seamless development and the cooperation from the government,” said Nanda Gopal, Director of ASK.

He also added “In addition to the scope of the leather industry is on the rise, the use of the latest technology to face different challenges is also increasing. All the information and technology required for expanding and modernizing the leather industry have been presented at this trade show.”

Milestones From The  Leather and Footwear Fair in Bangladesh 2018:

According to LeatherTech Bangladesh, a total of  8076 business visitors from all sector of the industry visits the Expo. Mainly, footwear manufacturers & exporters, Tanners, Leather Goods Manufacturers, and exporters are also visiting the Expo. Throughout the three days, we saw visitors were gathering here and check out most of the stalls. when we will see the visitors opinion we can see the acceptance of the fair very fairly.
